It Ain't Over Till the Fat Lady Sings...

so I hope she will be singing loudly and clearly about 1pm today That's when the garage sale is scheduled to stop - although I have told a few people that everything left at 1pm drops to half price. Hopefully, that way, I will not have too much to cart to Goodwill on Monday.

I think, according to the weather reports, I planned the sale one day too early. Saturday is forecast to be 93* but Sunday will be in the 70's and we will get rain for the first time in about a month. I am thrilled about that!

Since I know you are undoubtedly tired of hearing about this sale, I'll stop now, and the only other thing I'll say tomorrow is whether it was successful or not and show some photos I took today. One of my neighbors came over this afternoon to place her stuff and when I opened the garage door, and she saw the multitude of items, she was flabbergasted. She thought surely some of it was the 3 other neighbors who are taking part in the sale - but it was all mine. It does boggle the mind.

Wish me luck...

Good luck, Judy! I wish I could get my act (and my stuff) together for such a venture. I have way too much stuff and I've been putting it off for years.

I bet you sell almost everything. It is rare to find a garage sale in these parts on a Sunday. They are almost always on Sat. and so I miss them all. Which may be good thing.

Wow, you are a three family yard sale all by your self.
Really looking forward to the pictures and hope you have great success.
This area has no yard sales on Sunday either while in Florida it was the biggest day. Guess all the heathens go to live in Florida.

Lots of success, may they take it all away. Coward that I am, I've been hauling my stuff off the the consignment shop and Goodwill a few bags at time.

I hope it goes well and you get a lovely warm glow when you count the money and DON'T immediately start filling up the spaces:)

It will seem wonderful not having a lot of things you do not need.
With my 3 moves over the last 10 years - I only have 1/2 of what I use to. I love it...still too much stuff.

Garage sales are wonderful but the last one we had started on Thursday morning and was over at Noon. Sold out.
