I'll Never Do That Again!

Assuredly, many of us would say  "I'll never  do that again!"  about some things we've done; either because they were embarrassing, or painful or just plain wrong.

I had some shopping to do today; I had a coupon for a large container of the coffee we drink for less than half the usual cost and I couldn't let that go to waste. So I went to Target and made a short stop into Ross Dress for Less (where I passed on a black purse with silver studs and now I'm regretting that).

After Ross, I had to go to the bank for mr. kenju, who needed cash. I left the shopping center and decided to take the road beside the nearest high school to get to the street where the bank is. What a huge mistake that was!  I didn't notice that it was noon, and it seems like every kid in that school has a car and goes off campus for lunch. I got stuck trying to make a right turn at the same point where the school parking lot empties onto the road - and it was pure hell. There were at least 20 other poor souls stuck behind me, who were also regretting that they had taken that road. I suspect that all of them are also saying....."I'll never do that again!"

So tell me.......what have you done that made you say...."I'll never do that again?"

BTW: this is post number 1402. I can't believe I wrote the whole thing....LOL

They still let kids leave for lunch? Wow.

I'll never again buy luggage without wheels...let work become my entire life...change Christmas light bulbs when it's been raining without unplugging them first...

I'll never again accept an invitation to join the beautiful young Indian girls dancing in the desert in India. Thankfully it was mainly dark and hopefully I wasn't too visible. Brings me out in a cold sweat just to think of it.
Congrats on the many posts. Keep 'em coming please:)

1402, Wow, I bow to your tenacity and talent. I think they call that a body of work. Congrats big time.

Somehow all my vows of "I'll Never Do That Again!" were brought on by a hang over. Took many repeats of that saying but fortunately haven't had to say it again for the past 35 years.
Adored the picture of the repentant child.

I do goofy things all the time and swear "I'll never do that again". The biggest thing I keep swearing not to do and then continuing to do is telling my spouse the goofy thing I have done. I get a big lecture every time and every time I swear I won't tell him again.

I hate school traffic!

Funny, I most often say "never again" in relation to traffic jams in Burlington--the college students are moving back in, public works is paving the street in front of the hospital during rush hour. Somehow, i always eventually forget these traffic traumas and head into town once again.

Take Old Dominion Blvd. exit off of Interstate 64E (our regular route home)... any time between 2 and 7PM. The high bridge ALWAYS backs up, no one seems to get the "zipper" principle on the exit and the traffic on the way to Elizabeth City, NC is ALWAYS heavy then. Through in a bridge opening and you have a nightmare.

I'll never take Sunset Boulevard in LA during rush hour again. Its more like "rush 3 hours" to get anywhere!

I'm with Jen, "they still let kids leave at lunch!" I don't know what I won't do again, I'll have to ponder the question

Never say Never is my motto! My problem of late is putting things away safely - so safely, I cannot find them again! :(
