Memory(s) and Some Frogs I Have Known

This is the old memory that came out of my computer. How on earth it ever transmitted/saved information escapes me!! The new memory is one gigabyte. My daughter informed me yesterday that her old Ipod Touch has sixteen gigabytes of memory. That the Ipod (no larger than a cell phone) has fifteen times more memory than my computer is truly mind-boggling.
The Lovely Mr. Striped Leg of Celadon on the Green.

Another Mr. Striped Leg, but this one hails from Slimy Mossy Grove. Both of them had just taken a dip in the pool and were not one bit happy to have been so unceremoniously extracted from said pool.

Last night I attended a volunteer thank you party for the people who worked on events for the Jim Valvano Golf Classic. It is an incredibly well-organized group of staff and volunteers and has been in "business" for about 16-17 years. Some of the volunteers have been with the group for all of those years. My association with them only dates back to my employment with Mel Day of Dogwood Tree Floral (8 years), but I would be happy to volunteer for this group anyway. There is no more dedicated group of people anywhere - for any cause - and certainly curing cancer is one of the best causes around. Unfortunately, it is a large and noisy group, and I couldn't hear much of the speeches and announcements. I do know they always raise an incredible amount of money for the cause, and I hope that this year was no exception.

We have had a couple of tree frogs take up resting places under the lid of the hot tub. How they stand the heat when the filter runs, I don't know.

Stephen ordered a toad house for the garden. It is really cute and now we just have to figure out where it will go.

Are either of those frogs a female? If they are, have I got a fellow for them who owns a private pond and is eager.

Kenju, Love those frogs. Here in Walla Walla the town is threaded with a major creek and many small creeks including on our street and the sound of them in the evening is extraordinary. Very soothing.

I ;have a frog - or toad - who lurks round my pots. I always nearly jump out of my skin when he surprises me.

I'm wondering if Patti's eager fellow is a frog or just a pond owner. Interesting ;)

Hi Kenju,
I found your blogs through SRP and Carmi's blogs.
I used to visit you a long time ago but have been out of the blogosphere for a while.
Beautiful photos of the frogs!
Cheers!

I don't see many frogs here in my neighborhood...I'd have to go down by the shores of Lake Michigan to see those little critters; which is only blocks away. Cute little guys...

The frogs are great. I have a thing about frogs and have a lot of frog sculpture in my garden but no real ones for year. I have had a frog or two show up in my garden in years gone by but at this point the wire, stone and wood ones are the only frogs hanging out here.

Two really adorable Frogs, my dear...!

Maybe you should have had more Memory put in to your Computer, if your Hard Drive can handle it....Things sure work faster and better with more memory, don't they?
