I went to be early Thursday night; for some reason I couldn't keep my eyes open after 9pm. I got in bed at 9:30 and read for 20 minutes, then turned out the light. All went well until 3:30 am, when I had to get up for the bathroom. One of my cats was out in the hallway, but she didn't move as I passed by her. I got back into bed without turning on the light, and as soon as I pulled the covers back up, my other cat jumped onto the bed. The little devil sneaked into the bedroom while was in the bathroom, and hid behind the bed until I was safely in it. I should have gotten up and tossed her out in the hallway again, but I didn't - and I lived to regret it.
Eclipse wants to sleep across my neck or chest and when I push her away, she keeps coming back until I am so ticked off I can't stand it. If all else fails, she tickles my nose with her whiskers until I put a hand on her to move her away (which she seems to like almost as much as if I was petting her.) I got so frustrated, but not enough to get out of bed again. Finally, she settled down beside my feet and slept there until my radio alarm went off at 6:40 am. I didn't stir until 7am, although not for lack of her trying to get me to pay some attention to her. As soon as the radio started, she was back up at my face, tickling me again.
If I have to get up tonight, I'll make sure she doesn't get into my room!

One of the posters I made to advertise about selling my business supplies has finally paid off. A woman is coming Saturday to see my containers! They are priced to sell, so I hope she is ready to buy. If not, I can attempt to sell them at a neighborhood yard sale, which we have set for September 25th. So far, we have five households participating in that yard sale, so we should get a lot of people coming by. I sure hope so. I have pledged to get my garage cleaned out enough so that I can park my car in it this winter - the first time in nearly 28 years!! It will be just my luck that I'll get to park in the garage and we will have no snow at all. LOL

Good luck on your sale. It will feel good to get rid of all those details. Since I am truly allergic to cats, (Although in my youth when I was not allergic my cat slept on my feet and woke me up with his claws!)this post just made me want to sneeze.
We had almost the same experience with a five year old boy. Only he didn't sleep at our feet. In fact I eventually got up and went to another room to sleep. When my husband got up for work the CP managed to sprawl out over the entire queen sized bed where he slept on quite comfortably.
Quite a post for nothing to write about.
What I find difficult is when I want to write about something and I can't because it's too private.
I have two cats so if I don't shut them out, I go thru twice what you did. I so understand. I love them but do not want them for head wraps.
Hope your customer helps you clear your garage by taking all your containers. I only have a carport but it is so nice not having iced or snow covered windshields plus a dry place to get in and out.
You do so well when you have "nothing".
Judy you must have been tired not to get up and fling that cat back into the hall. Yikes, I could not stand the crawling around my face and whiskers tickling me.
Good luck with your sale. My fingers are crossed.
Craft items can really sell well at garage sales and I have found that the neighborhood ones bring in the most people. It is easier to park a car and then walk to multiple sales than having to drive all over town.
I had to laugh about the cats. I have always had the most lazy of cats, too preoccupied with their own sleep to bother mine. They are always the last ones up and out of bed, well... perhaps with the exception of Daisy, but she's the dog. Dad's cat Maggie, on the other hand, has a self imposed regular schedule and is narcissistic ... she thinks she is the Queen. She wakes him at 6AM by loud meowing that will not stop... for her morning feeding. And does the same at 6PM... not wake him, but just annoys everyone with yowling until she has her little bowl of wet food.
oh how fun. I too. (like Pat) was impressed by how much you wrote! If you ever need a topic to write about this month, check out the video on the guide dog month fundraiser, it will move you (petco.com/naturalbalance) scroll down to the bottom. Its about 5 minutes but worth watching and just may inspire you.
As much as I loved our 2 cats I refused to let them sleep on the bed, after one sleepless night with one of them when she was a kitten, never again!
Good luck with selling your containers!
Hope the potential customer scoops it all up but I bought most of my craft supplies at yard sales so you must have it covered! The lovely cat we took it one winter yowled at the bedroom door and stuck her little paws under it at 3in the morning. We found her a new good home because being around her gave me asthma. Miss her.
Bella likes to sleep right by my side, all stretched out with her body under the covers, head out - like a person. It's hilarious (and very warm!)
I thought you said you had nothing to write about !!
Best wishes on the garage sale. I love to go to those, but stopped years ago 'cause I just didn't need more "stuff." Last sale I had was with several families involved and we were quite pleased with outcome. What I disliked was the lady who came to our door anyway, though we had said, "No early birds." It was hectic inside our house at the time with our kids. My husband was as rude to her as she was in coming to our door. I wouldn't have been so short with her. She was apparently insulted and left. Probably, we should have just ignored her. You remind me that I need to clear out our garage -- had been my husband's area (no, he wasn't relegated to the garage!) -- plus get more stuff out of this house.
