I don't know where this was taken - I got it in an email. I've never seen a black fawn.

How amazing! I expect there's a scientific name for it, but I've never seen anything like that!

And you'd have a hard job spotting him in the woods!

No I haven't seen one. We had a doe and her fawn come out of the preserve behind the house last week. We startled them and they ran, so I didn't get a picture but it looked more dappled like the typical fawn. I just didn't want them eating my winterberry bushes.

New to me also. Too bad the other twin couldn't have been an albino then they could have been Ebony and Ivory.

That's a new one on me. I have never heard of a black fawn and think it is most strange.

That is a marvelous photo though and I think the photographer deserved Kudos.
