What's New?

My new ovens finally came today!! And the best thing was that the installer didn't have to do any electrical work other than hooking it up and he didn't have to cut on the cabinets, as the new set was (were?) a perfect fit!! We don't usually have that kind of good luck, so we were very happy about that!

A great way to keep cool on Father's Day; five of our nine grandchildren enjoying the pool. Our upstairs cooling system malfunctioned yesterday, so when we went to bed last night, the temperature was 81* and muggy. Needless to say, we didn't sleep well. The repairman came early this morning and now we are cool, calm and collected - finally!!

This photo was taken Friday. Storm loves to lie on the bridge from the deck to the pool. Doesn't she look right at home here?

Glad you got you long awaited ovens installed. Now what are you baking or roasting this week?

I am still stuck on the POOL.... what a blessing that would be today!!! I still have some debris to remove from behind the fence but it is so hot that I will have to get up really, really early in the morning to get it done before it is too hot!

Very nice looking ovens there... I know you are really relieved.

Does Storm ever go in the water?

I suppose not,because most cats don't like water,do they?

Woohoo for the pool! And yes, Storm does look right at home.

Everyone looks so cool in the pool. That is good news about the ovens fitting right in. But it's too hot to cook. At least they will stay clean a while longer.

A perfect fit? Amazing. Looking good.
We have crossed the hundred mark for several days with more of the same on the way. I am trying to culitivate a friend with a pool. Too bad you live so far away. Yours looks great. Enjoy.

What a great looking stove. I am jealous. I am also jealous of the pool. We can't have one because we would run out of well water fast trying to fill it. Is Storm tracking you?

Gorgeous cat. I kind of envy the pool, too, but not the work of upkeep--a bit silly to have a pool in VT anyway, although people do.
Finally the ovens! Did you ever hear from Sears? My sister-in-law was without an oven for 8 months (I can't imagine it) waiting for an electrical part for her fancy, very expensive stove with convection oven.

I could do with a pool right now! Storm looks really sweet there - I bet the wood is warm to her tummy!

Love the oven! Very nice. You need to put a shoe out there for Storm. :-)

Hi Judy: I finally figured out how to get to your blog from my daughter's computer! As I told you I am in NY State and the weather is gorgeous so I won't be too anxious to get back to the "muggy" and hot North Carolina ...
Looks like you had a fun Father's day...all the best to Mr. Kenju.

Nice ovens, they look a bit like ours. :) Now you have to keep them all shiny and clean like that all the time!

Would be nice to have a pool during this 100 degree weather.
Love your new ovens.
