I made all the small ones.
Mel made the large ones.

Those are just so beautiful! I loved the tiny calla lilies, especially the very dark ones. And your small arrangements were simply lovely!
How weddings have changed! I looked at myh old wedding photos - in B&W of course, and I had a very small corsage of one rose and a couple of what look like lilies of the valley, though as I was married in November, I have my doubts. No way would out of season flowers been available in 1960! All the men had carnations in their buttonholes, as did my mother and mother-in-law, but theirs had leaves or something round.
My daughter's first wedding was a bit "hippie" in that she wanted all wild flowers, though she added some lovely cream spikey chrysanthemums. She and her arty friends did all the table centrepieces themselves, plus larger arrangements for the windowsills.
For her second wedding, she had a lovely bouquet, don't know who did it, very natural and held the reception in their house. Wisely. as it was a small house for the number of guests, she used the food as decoration. It was a tea party, so there were interesting cakes, etc.
But I would love to be a fly on the wall at one of your beautiful US weddings!

Wow, those are beautiful. Each time you show orchids, I get an urge to grow them. Hopefully this time will shove me off my chair to get some. My Dad used to grow them so they have special meaning.

The flowers are gorgeous.. and this is such a busy time of year for you... Mother's Day and weddings. And a trip to the botanical garden as soon as I get back from New York.
