Mother's Day was spent in the company of my three children and six of the grandchildren. We ate lasagna, salad, rolls and red velvet cake - and the best part is that I didn't have to buy, cook, serve or clean up!! I lay in her recliner mostly, and listened to one grandchild's impromptu concert on his trombone. Too bad the others didn't bring their instruments; we have a flautist and a clarinetist as well.

After the bulk of the group left, we watched my daughter's huge flat-screen HDTV. If I had one, I'd never get anything done! The picture is so realistic you'd swear you could walk into it.

Here's hoping that all of you had a wonderful Mother's Day!

Glad you had a wonderful Mother's day.

Sounds like a lot of fun. In the UK Mother's Day was celebrated in March.

Lovely day for you. Oddly we heard yesterday that our Australian grandson is learning the trombone.

Glad you had such a pleasant day with your family. I had a nice one too, though my son was on call for work, and had to go off on a long job.

I am so glad you were properly spoiled. Way to go kids.
Think I know what is going on your wish list.

That sounds like a perfect Mother's Day Judy---especially the part where you didn't have to do anything...lol!

I'm so happy for you. I talked to two of my kids long distance.

You will need to get your three musicians together for a concert.

I am glad you enjoyed your day. I became an American for the day just so I could celebrate! I had a fun day at Elly's!
