Weddings ~ March 27, 2010

These photos are from weddings for which I helped Mel Day, of Dogwood Tree Florals. The green hydrangea looked like it had been speckled with a paint brush.

I love the juxtaposition of the arches in this photo. This is in the Sheraton in downtown Raleigh.

A tossing bouquet.

I am going to give up trying to make the photo placement like it used to be. Blogger has gone nuts and I hate a large empty spaces between photos, but I can't seem to cure it!

I do like the idea of those tulips up to their necks in a tall glass vase. Solves the problem of them going either all floppy to standing up straight like soldiers!

Your arrangements are just so beautiful - I am full of admiration for anyone who can persuade flowers to do what they want!

Judy: nice to know I'm not the only one who gets brow beaten by blogger.
I love faintly greenish flowers - like the hydrangea.

Love these. Hydrangeas are growing on me. I hope I can get the soil right so that my one called Cityline Rio will be a dark purple on the edge of the blooms and green in the middle... it has to be basic for that.
