Great quotes Judy! We have had a rough night here with storm after storm after storm. Daisy is a nervous wreck.

The George Eliot one reminds me of a book I'm reading which I think you would appreciate: The Shack by William Paul Young. I won't be around for ten days or so. Take care:)

I love that George Crane quote. It should be posted high in every school, on every corner and on every billboard!

My mother always said that profanity was the sign of a poor vocabulary. I am always impressed with comedians or writers who don't need shock value to be entertaining.

I've always thought you are what you think. I think I thought that. Just kidding. Love the quotes. (I'm taking a temporary or not leave of absence except for reading you.)

Still kickin', I see.

I like the first quote a lot. No surprise there, I'm sure.

I couldn't help but think of the right wing Christians when I read that last quote. Mercy is sadly lacking in their rigid thinking.

Thank you for posting those words of wisdom.

What great quotes. Far too many people do not heed the first IMHO.
