Two more photos of antiques that I sent to the R*adsh*w. The top one is a dresser (also given to me by my mom and dad). We also have the washstand and we used to have the bed to match, but I foolishly sold it back in the late 70's. I now use those 2 pieces in my dining room, to hold linens, candles, etc. The large one makes a perfect buffet.
My mom's tiger oak china cabinet; our pride and joy. I hope one thing from my collection will be chosen to be on the show, but there are bound to be a lot of people in this area who are eager to submit photos, so there'll be a lot of competition, I'm sure. I don't know how long it will take for them to notify me if one of my pieces is chosen, but I'll let you know!

What fabulous pieces, Judy. If they are on the roadshow, do you have to move them somewhere? I assume you submit photos initially, right? We had a traveling roadshow last year with the appraisers there but the things had to be light enough to carry in. Would you sell them if the offer was good enough?
Again, I have my fingers crossed for you. Will they come to your house? I hope so. If they do you should make sure they see more of your wonerful collectibles.
I never miss watching AR. It's quite entertaining. I certainly wish you the best of luck. I can already see you and the two brothers, Leigh and Leslie, looking for secret drawers and discussing inlay. :)
They're both lovely! Too bad they can only choose one. Fingers crossed they do choose one of yours. I was wondering the same thing as Fran, if you have to move them somewhere?
Hey, cool stuff, lady. Good luck with this!
I love the show, so if you do get picked, you'll have to give us dates of airing. I don't always catch it (kids! LOL).
Good luck with the show, I sure hope you get picked! I love antiques also..I have a cpl pieces also, not as nice are yours...I love to mix old and new together.
I'd choose them. Furniture like that is a real pleasure to dust and polish.
I love tiger oak. We had some beautiful pieces once upon a time that we ended up selling when we were strapped for $$. You're so lucky to still have yours. I'll be watching AR hoping to see you.
Okay, I'm guessing this is a television program I've never heard of, so the code doesn't mean anything to me.
But it sure sounds exciting.
Wouldn't that be exciting Judy...? I hope you will keep us informed if you do hear from them...!
Those are BEAUTIFUL pieces...I particularly like that 2nd piece...But BOTH are really special!
Wow, they are both very beautiful!
