This is really, really funny! Good luck on the week... by Monday you will yearn for flowers other than roses. If the weather holds, I might go to the botanical garden... the camellias are in bloom.

So enjoyed the re-run since it was a first-run for me. Some things about youth are universal. Loved the simpler days. Been there, enjoyed that.
The cartoon reminded me of a lake we lived on when I was younger. Everyone had outhouses. Two- holers were a sign of status. Sadly, we were a one-holer family but since I didn't know anyone I wanted to squat with, I was OK with it.
Don't work too hard.

That is a good one. I'm getting caught up on all your posts, starting with the bra one. You always find the most fun stuff to post!

He really shouldn't have left his tools in reach, LoL!

Hope you're not too fed up with red roses!

I read your golden oldie for the first time,Judy, and it brought back memories of my own skinned knees. I still have the scars to prove it.

The cartoon is tres' funny.

This cartoon reminded me of the outhouse we had in the house we lived in each summer. It, too, was a two holer, but we called it the holiest of outhouses because it was built from wood salvaged by my father from a local Protestant church that had a fire.

Glad you found your way back to my blog. Missed your comments.

Your Just Ask Judy post popped up on my aggregator on Sat. I couldn't quite figure out why, and I almost emailed you. But I did readIit, and thoroughly enjoyed it. i did not remember it, so perhaps we did not know each other then.

I had not read this before...I LOVE all these wonderful memories of yoiur childhood....And you write about it in such a vivid way---I felt I could see it all!

I was thinking that it was AMAZING that you didn't get some terrible infection from your skinned knees that kept getting opened up again and again...!

That cartoon is really funny!

Finally! In a way this is funny. Your blog is only one that's doing this to me, but it's still so in miniature that I can't read a thing and have "guess click" until I get the comments page, which is normal. I roam around on your blog like a crazy blind woman! :-)

In any event, since I can't read anything, I just wanted to say hi and that I hope one of these days a miracle will occur where I can see your blog in normal perportions!
