Art is Where You Find It ~ Bras

The email that all these photos came from said they were entries in a charity fund-raiser for (I think) breast cancer, but it could have been other women's health issues too. I lost all the copy that came with the email, so I don't know where they were from, and I'm mad that after I downloaded the photos, the titles of the bras were lost and so were the names of the creators. I hope you will enjoy them anyway. It may be that you can click to enlarge the pix and see more detail. The first one has an obvious Halloween theme.

This one is called the "nursing bra".....LOL

and this one is for "Wonder Woman"

This is the "sports bra"...

I think this one was "Two Boobs" - which made me laugh!

love this watermelon idea.....

This looks itchy!

I wish I could remember the name of this one.

and naturally, I love the frogs!!

Buttons and Bows

and this one? I can't remember the name (but I wouldn't want to wear it) LOL!

Note to self:

Check the weather reports or look at the thermometer before you blithely don a cotton turtleneck and a light jacket to go out on a morning that proves to be 19*!!

There's not one of those that looks actually wearable. They look damned uncomfortable to tell the truth!

But clever. Very clever.

The pink pokey one - eye poker. I have enough weight suspended from my shoulders without adding to it:)

Some of them are quite lovely and since I have no weight hanging from my shoulders...they could add some nice interest.

I kinda like the 3rd one, but the rest, as Mojo said, just look damned uncomfortable.

If I could fill it up, I would wear the watermellon bra with a pair of shorts. Otherwise, they would make cute plant hangers.

Hope you've warmed up, Judy! It's been viciously cold here, and I almost got frostbite on my hand when I stupidly took a call on my BlackBerry yesterday. Chatted for no more than 90 seconds before realizing I could no longer feel my fingers. I cringe at the memory of how much it hurt afterward!

The artistry in these is remarkable. I'd give my eye teeth to see someone actually wearing even one of them!

Popped by from Tanya's on this quiet morning. Hope you're having a nice transition into the weekend. I know mine can't come soon enough!

The sports bra intrigues me. Upon taking off your shirt you could say in a sexy voice, "Have a ball, honey."

Interesting creations... some people just have too much time on their hands :)

I want some of those! They are so cute

I was going to say some designers have way too much time on their hands but Sage beat me to it. Okay, I said it anyhow.

I think I read an article about these a while back and they had been created for some charity event. Interesting to see each artists take on the project.

You must get some interesting email...mine seems awfully dull by comparison. Keep up with the fun stuff.

I'm with Sage & Darlene on this one. Certainly not for wearing under a t-shirt!

Ooh- I love the feather one! It tickles! I wore that last number in the mid-sixties. Looked great under a sweater.

You want to know why it's so cold, Judy? It's because for 200 years White people have been saying,"It will be a cold day in Hell when a Black man gets elected to be President."

I'd wear the watermelon one.

P.S. Noe of them is meant to be worn - they are art!

Courtney is learning that same thing about the weather. She said one day it was bright and sunny, so she dressed somewhat lightly and headed out for class. She got outside and could see her breath, so she realized the cold, cold winter was still doing its best to freeze everyone.

Those bras are fun. I think I might like to wear a couple of them, but most of them would be pretty uncomfy. Well, they're meant to be art anyway... but I don't think I'd display one on my wall.

Those are GREAT. And what a wonderful idea. Will have to pass that one on for a fundraiser idea here.
