Mother of the Year +

A friend sent me these pix in an email, and I forgot to save the captions along with them. The cubs were orphans and the chimp, Anjana, began mothering them. Aren't they too cute for words?

It just proves what I've always said; that if you have a mothering instinct, it doesn't matter what or who it is - you'll mother it!

Mr. kenju asks what the chimp will do when the tiger cubs get big enough to bite and claw? He always sees the negative side of things.....lol.

I have discovered that there are four blogs (maybe more) on which I cannot leave comments, and it has to do with the way that they have chosen to have the comment window show. When the comments require me to click what type of account I have (which is g**gle, blogger), I do and then their word verification pops-up and asks me to type the word/letters. The problem is that the letters I am supposed to type never appear - so the comment will not register. One of those blogs is a newish one which I immediately liked and would love to be able to comment on - but can't. It is Marcy's. Will you please tell her for me?

I told her, Mrs. Kenju, but I didn't have any problems logging in myself. Thanks for the heads-up about Marcy's blog.

That Mr. Kenju, he's so darned practical, as most men are. What do we do when our own adolescents get big and bite back? We put them on lock-down and take away the car. Does that work with monkeys and surrogates, do you think?

Kenju, I found that if I log in to Blogger and post from Internet Explorer I get the word verification, but under Mozilla Firefox I do not and cannot post.

I have one or two blogs where I can't post.

Mothers take assorted heart-wrenching abuse from their children and so will the chimp.

Aren't those photos of the *mom* chimp adorable?
Just look at her eyes. She seems so happy.

I've had this problem several times. I find that if I go ahead and click to finish, letters suddenly pop up and I can go back, do that, and then finish.

Your chimp photos are priceless!

Good morning Judy :)

I'm so sorry to here about your friend's husband.

That email is really cute, but I thought the same thing as Mr. Kenju LOL

Happy New Year sweet friend!
hugs,
rue

Gotta go with Mr. Kenju. While it is just unbearably cute now, I fear Momma will begin to look like a snack as the kitties grow. Hope we are both wrong.

Once in a while I have that problem---where the Verification box is there but there is nothing but a little "x" where the letters should be. I type in any letters and hit publish and when it comes up again, the "word" is there.....You might try that if it applies, Judy....

Those pictures are just ADORABLE! So very very sweet....! And I agree with you....it ALL has to do with the mothering instinct....!

Oh I love these photos so much. All that matters is the now nurturing.

Sometimes if I don't get the word verification I will go ahead and post, as if it were in and then it will reject my comment but return with the word showing and I can then post it.

Awww those pictures are adorable and amazing!! Mr. Kenju, what a fuddy duddy. :)

Have you tried to right click where the word verification should be and select view photo? It may work, not sure. I detest word verification. I always type it in the wrong way and have to try again.

I had the same thoughts as Mr. Kenju!

sometimes when the word verify doesn't show up I type in anything and then of course it doesn't go thru but a second word appears

I posted today about an elephant and a dog becoming best friends - great minds kenju - great minds

they even smile the same ;)

I am seeing plug in add ons today when i try to leave comments...it's always something.

Mothering is mothering and when those babies get too big, momma will smack 'em.

They just look so happy don't they.
Re men and negativity I sometimes think the 'downturn' has happened to give them a valid excuse for moaning:)

Hey there ... I did some adjusting and changed some settings in my comment section, so I'm hoping that will solve your problem.

Love the monkey/white tiger pics. THAT is unconditional love.

I've tried to figure this out since I got your email. I don't use word verification and my settings are set to receive comments from anyone. But I had another person tell me they were having trouble commenting on my blog. Thanks for notifying me.
