Art is Where You Find It

Conductors seldom have heart trouble. Did you know that? They get a lot of upper body aerobic exercise which helps strengthen their hearts! My mom read that years ago, and strangely enough, I remembered it.

On your mark, get set, GOOOOOOOOOO......

Oh, the vanity!

Tickling the ivories!

An Olympic record?

Soccer rivals, joined at the hip!

Is this a Carolina Blue tar heel??

I treated mr. kenju to dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant last night. Chimichangas (excellent) and a celebratory frozen margarita (strong!) helped to welcome 2009 - or maybe it just deadened the dregs of 2008.

I saw a bumper sticker I like last night (although I never put them on my car):

W = the Worst president ever.

Your sentiments too?

We worked yesterday; tearing down the Christmas decor at a country club and a hotel. It sure does come down more easily and quickly than it goes up! Today, we work at two city clubs. I have a small wedding this weekend (at which we are also guests- YAAAAAY!!) and that is the last work I have until Valentine's Day week - unless something comes up that I don't know about. Maybe now I can get back to work on the kitchen hallway; tearing off and cleaning up after wallpaper that was put up 26 years ago....ICK! By the time I finish that and paint the hall it will be time to sell the house and move to assisted living.....LOL

Your blogs are very interesting.
You keep coming up with such amazing 'stuff' that I always wonder what I'm going to see next.
Love your sense of humor too.

Such creative hands or rather the brain behind the hands. And to think all we need for good health is a stick and some rousing music. I had heard that also. May give it a try.
A wonderful New Year for the whole family.

Perhaps we can resolve together to make this "Kitchen Wallpaper Removal" year and encourage one another to get the job finished?
