Here's a wedding I forgot to show you. I didn't get good pix of everything, but the centerpiece photos came out okay. This was Mel's wedding at Treyburn Country Club in Durham. The color scheme was chocolate brown and Tiffany blue.

Here's the youngest cake baker I've ever known...no...just teasing. She's the esteemed helper (daughter) of the baker. They weren't finished decorating, obviously, but we had to leave before that happened. I loved the little marzipan statues for the top of the cake, which included two dogs belonging to the bride and groom. (Detail below). I think the groom was a chef.

I love the colors! That baker's daughter certainly looks like she knows what she's doing.

The dogs are just too cute!

Fabulous looking cake!! It would almost be a shame to cut it!!!

Interesting colour scheme with the chocolate and "tiffany" blue...

When my brother got married the bridesmaids' dresses were black and they all had calla lilies like these. I laughed up my sleeve thinking how ironic it was that everyone was wearing black and carrying lilies. Shows what I know.

"gyzing"... isn't that some kind of obstetrical exam?

Ah, hah. After your e-mail, I switched from Safari browser (Mac user here) to Firefox and now everything is fine. It is a more universal browser, I guess. The mystery is solved, but maybe Blogger is discriminating against Mac. What do you think? And why are you up so late? Get some sleep! And my word below is redliz. Like it!

Certainly not your conventional wedding cake but nothing wrong with that. I've learned a new colour.
