The General and My Grandson

Subtitle: Two Handsome Men!!

General Jim Jones, USMC (Ret), former Allied Commander, Europe, and Commander of the United States European Command, will serve as President Barack Obama's National Security Advisor.

We were invited to a reception at the Marine Barracks in Washington, DC in 2002, and we took our grandson with us. He was 8 years old. Little did we know that the man behind him, who was then Commandant of the Marine Corp, would someday be working closely with our President in the White House.

I think it is time to have the photo blown up and framed, don't you?

Yeah... you might want to do something with that shot. That guy's gonna be famous after all. And the general's no slouch either.

I'd go for enlarging the photo, not blwoing it up. Might be tought to put all them littl pieces in a frema. :)

Whoa - what's up with all my typos?

Let me re-type:

I'd go for enlarging the photo, not blowing it up. Might be tough to put all them little pieces in a frame.

Zoiks!
