Here's what to do if you want to do this meme:

1) Copy this list into your blog or journal, including these instructions.

2) Bold (or make red) all the items you’ve eaten.

3) Cross out any items that you would never consider eating. (I didn't know how to do this. You could italicize or make them another color.)

4) Optional extra: Post a comment at
http://www.verygoodtaste.co.uk/uncategorised/the-omnivores-hundred/ linking to your results.

That's a lot of food and some that I don't know.

Eichbaum beer is imported in the States but in very small quantities. Trust me, I've looked all over for it. I'm sure I would be disappointed though, because it was made very close to where I lived in Germany and it was always fresh and cold and so smooth and clean.

Steamed pork buns are excellent. I eat them all the time in China and Korea. They are way better than they sound. Typically a BBQ beef or pork, wrapped in a light pastry dough and steam-cooked. One of my favorite Dim Sum dishes...

Just drove home from Glacier National Park, saw lots of road kill on highway (not much else to see in Eastern Montana and Central Wyoming). Dear heaven, who would eat that? My Mom loved sweetbreads, so I guess I know who would eat that, but why??

I hope you had as much fun with this as I did, Judy! Interesting to see what we eat.

Actor/Poet Victor Buono wrote:

"You are what you eat said a wise old man
And, Lord, if that's true, I'm a garbage can!"

I think he was right.

LOL

Femail Doc--Sweetbreads are wonderful, when properly prepared. I first had them in a heavy cream sauce. Yum!
