Mr. Kenju's Family Photos ~ Part 3

It's really too bad we don't know who these people are, and that the old tin type is damaged enough that we can't see the face of the child on the lower right. The dad looks dapper enough, doesn't he?

In the top row left: Mr. kenju's aunt, uncle and great-grandmother on his father's side.

These girls may be out walking on their lunch hour in old NYC. I wonder what factory they worked in? Maybe they were schoolteachers?

As usual, none of these have dates or names on them. Sheeesh.

Love the old pictures because I love hair and clothes style from 30's and 40's.

Neat old pictures, but their shoes make my feet hurt to look at them and the bathing suits...

Such a shame no-one thought to annotate them as they are a wonderful window on the past. Which reminds me, I must get round to annotating mine!

Despite the fact that there aren't any dates - these are treasures!

I was wondering just what will be said about the clothing styles we wear right now when people see our photos 50 to 75 years in the future.

Judy,

Do you remember the story I wrote about why I can't go to the library anymore?

I think the lady on the left in the last picture was the librarian
I mentioned......

The pics are great. I love taking a look at the past. I always wonder how people could stand wearing all those "stuffy" looking clothes - being raised an all cotton and all comfort gal myself.

Gotta love the old black and whites.

People seem to think that their moments will be remembered by future generations. Too bad it doesn't work that way, huh?

No names on any of my old pics either....I think they all look scared to death!

Part 3 -- Guess I missed 1 & 2 and will go back. I love old photos and wish my grandparent's photos had been marked as welll.

Glad to see you got the follower thing worked out. I'm having a terrible time setting it up.

You have to love old photos like these, whether or not you know who they are.

Hi Judy :)

I love old photographs. I have some that the people in them are unknown too. I always wonder what they are thinking....

Sheesh, is right.
I'd be frustrated to have old family photos and not know who they were.
I'm fascinated by old photos though no matter whose they are.
