More London Pix

More of my daughter's photos from London. I still don't know what I'm looking at, but she will tell me when she is here.

Very grand! I have yet to visit London but I hope to. THe churches remind me of the ones I saw in Italy.

The very fancy church is Westminster. The very large white building is Buckingham Palace.

That's about all I recognize. :)

She took some nice pics :) I like London alot. It's such a vibrant place to visit and I even liked going there for work which I used to do alot.

The large church like building is Westminster Abbey. I have no idea what the first building is but I recognise it (it's not Buckingham Palace!) and the last but one photo is of the parade ground where the Trooping of the Colour takes place on Horseguards Parade.

Her photos are wonderful. The park shot is especially beautiful.

Beautiful pics! With people standing beside some of those buildings, it really makes them look huge!

I think one of them could be st Margaret's?
I don't recognise Buck Pal. I think one of them could be where they do the Trouping of the Colour

That last one is Wellington Arch, memorializing the Duke of Wellington's victories in the Nepoleonic Wars. I think it's at the south entrance to Hyde Park. I once stayed at the Hilton just near there.
