More from London

More photos from my daughter's stay in London......

and, of course, I don't know exactly what we're looking at.....

Mr. kenju is an inveterate fan of Sherlock Holmes! We hope to go here someday.

221-B Baker Street

Sherlock himself! Enjoy......and I'll post some more later in the week.

I am on my way to the doctor's office to get some relief for my poor hand. I'll let you know what she says.

UPDATE: Thanks to all who voiced concern for me and my yellow jacket sting. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy! I had to see another doctor in the practice, since mine is on vacation. He looked at my hand, asked a lot of questions and sent me off with a prescription for something that "will make you very sleepy", so I have to take it only at night. Big whoop. I might as well have stayed with Dramamine, for all the good it will do. The itching has gotten a little milder today, so I don't have to walk around wildly scratching and grimacing! (I guess that's an improvement; I mean the lack of a grimace - although you might not be able to tell the difference......LOL)

The doctor's advice: let someone else clean the cobwebs off the house from now on.

My advice: listen to the doctor and avoid yellow jackets, bees, wasps and mosquitoes as best you can!

Love those pictures of London....Those first couple look like Queen Mary's Garden...!
I didn't get to the Sherlock Holmes area---so this is great to see these pictures!

I was wondering if you got to the doctor...Do let us know what she says, Judy. I hope you will get some relief very very soon!

I hope your sleepy med at least lets you get a decent night's sleep. Hope you feel better soon - love the pics!

I'd volunteer to beat the bugs over the head with a stick, but I think making a flamethrower and doing then in that way would be way more fun.

Wanna?

The Sherlock Holmes museum is one I have never been to. I'll have to put it on my list.

Take care of that sting and hope you're getting better. Yellow Jackets--whether the insect or the Georgia kind--can be a pain

all the advice i have seen also says if you haven't had a tetanus shot in the last 7 years you should also get a booster for that? weird. yellow jackets carry tetanus?

Hi Judy :)

I think it's funny that she doesn't send you any ifo about the pictures. It's almost like "guess where I am?" LOL

I hope your hand gets better soon. My mom was stung on her eyelid and it wasn't pretty for a few days... yikes!

Have a great 4th of July,
rue

I hope your hand settles down.

Wow, didn't know they would cause so much trouble 9except pain). got a spider bite on my hand and arm was sore and needed a special antibiotic - no pain, just red and streaky.

Is that Hyde Park in the top photo? It looks familiar. I am glad your sting is getting better!

Judy
Stay far, far away from those yellow jackets. Is there some sort of emergency kit you can have available to use immediately if you are stung again?
I know that stings can be dangerous.
Take care and feel better.

Just don't ask me to do it -- clean your cobwebs. I am doubting you'll get many volunteers to take on your yellow jackets. Well, Tiff's flamethrower idea is a good one.

Great pictures! The Sherlock Holmes Museum would definitely be a tour choice for me.
