Wedding Flowers ~ 4-12-08

These flowers are from a wedding done last weekend. Above: the bridal bouquet, featuring hydrangea, calla lilies, Asian lilies, roses and freesias, done by my friend Pam.

Bridesmaid's Bouquets: hydrangea and tulips with seeded eucalyptus and bupleurum.

One of a pair of altar vases, done by Pam.

Pew Markers.

One of the two types of centerpieces: 2 calla lilies in the vase, with a piece of hydrangea in the bottom.

Tulips and hydrangea.

such lovely understated colours. They are all beautiful. Tulips and Hydrangea are my favourite flowers.

Purty flowers and depressing gas prices. I'm going to HATE my next fill-up, Judy.

Thanks so much for sharing your floral designs with us, it's always so much fun to see them.

the Pew Markers are gorgeous, so often they're too much and take away from the aisle and the entrance. these are just perfect.

I also love the first centerpiece.

I love, love, love the colors - I tend to go with those colors. The pew markers are so beautiful - every thing is.

These are lovely! You always do such good work!

I read on down about the wonderful doctor you found and what the "establishment" is trying to do to him. How horrible!!!!!!! I know many doctors who long for the days when they could spend the time to get to really know their patients and still be able to make a living for their families. Plumbers have better lives now!

I say... do whatever you can to keep hold of him... he sounds like a real gem!

So beautiful! I can't pick a favorite.

My peonies are budding and because of all the spring rain, the plants are huge this year. Can't wait.

You do nice work, if my sister (who lives down there) ever gets married again, I'll recommend you! (do you do silk flowers so that she could recycle them, of course that would cut out "repeat business") -in jest.
