Hello, Michele sent me to say, "Oh, my!" but I'm laughing it anyway!

My friend was driving and she stopped suddenly. She wanted to let the little boy in the red hat cross the street. It was a fire hydrant. After that, I drove.

That's funny. I hope I don't get to the point where I talk to mail boxes anytime soon!

A couple in their nineties are both having problems remembering things.During a check up the doctor tells them to write things down so they will remember.

Later, the old man gets up from his chair. "Want anything while I'm in the kitchen?"

"Will you get me a bowl of ice cream?"

"Sure."

"Don't you think you want to write it down so you can remember?"

"No, I can remember."

"Oh, and I want some strawberries on top. Want to write it down?"

"No, you want a bowl of ice cream with strawberries on top."

"I also like whipped cream.I know you'll forget that. Write it down."

Irritated,he says,"I don't need to write it down." Ice cream with strawberries and whipped cream."

He goes into the kitchen and about 20 minutes later the old guy returns and hands his wife a plate of bacon and eggs.

She stares at the plate for a moment and shouts,"Where's my toast?"

That's funny! I wonder if it has ever happened in real life?
It wouldn't surprise me one bit, since I can see myself doing something like that.
:-)
I'm blogging from GA where we are on vacation.
Lammy is preaching to the flock this weekend.

Uh-oh. I wonder if that's base on a real-life event? :-s
