Now all we have to do is take a deep breath, roll up our sleeves, and get behind President Obama (doesn't that sound nice)to clean up this mess. I'm ready.
I'm an optimist in that I've got to believe that this transition heralds hope for a better tomorrow. I think history will be kinder to Mr. Bush than today's journalists and poll-respondents are being, but that's immaterial to me, anyway.
What matters is tomorrow. And it's already looking a little bit brighter. May that always be so.
I LOVE the Flag Being shredded....! One Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words...So Very True!
I am very excited. I have a Key Ring Counter that I got about 2 years ago....it runs out at midnight, tonight! it's called BUSH'S LAST DAY..... HOORAY!
I am excited for the first time in a long time about the future of our nation. The promise and the hope and the ideals that America stands for are now represented in our new president. Tomorrow will be a good day!
Well, when you consider that he was never legally elected, it's about time we got him out of office. Now if we could just clean up the mess made by the illegal war he started in Iraq and get our young men and women out of there, things will be hunky-dory!
I think B-K must have really meant it to have said it 3 times! This is the last day of the Bush era---I hope Cheney doesn't pull a coup. He's the type that would!
I have great respect for President Bush. I thank him for doing all he could to keep us safe, and I pray we continue to be safe in the years ahead. I do not harbor the hatred of Bush that some have. I did not agree with him on many things, but I think he is an honorable man who was bashed horridly from the day he first took office which is the opposite of the treatment our new president in getting.

I'm just thankful this whole ordeal is over. It still blows my mind that Clinton was impeached and this guy wasn't.
