A Visit to Santaland - Two

A continuation of yesterday's post; the home of so many Santa Claus's you couldn't count them in an hour! The beautiful patriotic Santa in the top photo is dressed in a coat made of old quilted fabric.

The stairs sit 2 deep in Santa's and Father Christmases.

Some of the stockings below are over 70 years old

This tree has many hand-blown glass Santas on it.
and sitting under the tree are old toys and games, on a quilt. It is truly awe-inspiring.

I am posting this early today because mr. kenju has a doctor's appointment, and then we are going to dinner at the home of some very good friends. For those who have asked recently, mr. kenju is doing very well, although progress is measured very slowly. He walks with a cane in the house and uses a walker when we go out. He tires quickly, but revives quickly after a short nap. Thanks for asking.

all I can think of is how much damage my cats would cause if turned loose in that house. Amazing.

What an incredible collection. I think it's quite evident that they don't have any small children running about the house.

I'm glad he's doing better.

I would be worried about walking through there though. Too many breakables for a girl like me.

Oh....all so beautiful. What an amazing collection. Thank you Judy for these couple of posts. I needed that little 'hit' of Xmas since I'm not putting up my things this year because I'll be out of town. I don't think I've ever seen so many Santas all in one place.

I checked out BOTH posts, Judy....AMAZING Collection, and so charmingly displayed...What Fun! Santaland, Indeed!

I cannot imagine the work this must be....And as you said, the storage space needed...Good Heavens! But they obviously get a lot of joy from it and GIVE others a lot of joy, too!
Thanks for sharing these wonderful Santas, Judy!

Lovely pics - glad to hear Mr. is doing well. Your post reminded me I have a nice, large Santa to get out of storage. Thanks!!

They are awesome! Yep, I would guess more than 100. Now, just imagine that they all could say, "Ho, Ho, Ho!" Whew, wouldn't your run screaming out of that house?

Thanks for the beautiful Christmas pictures. How on earth does that all get put away? I'd have to just move to another house and lock up until next season.

Glad the Mr. is doing well. That's a great present for under the tree.

We have a Father Christmas on top of our tree instead of an angel. My husband picked it out and wouldn't trade it for anything.
