Stress? Who......Me?
A recent conversation here in kenjuland:
I am upstairs and I hear mr. kenju say:
"Judy, I need my phone; will you bring me my phone, please?"
Judy: "Where did you leave it?"
Mr. kenju: "I don't know - it must be in the den." (he is downstairs in the foyer)
So I go downstairs and look for it.
Judy: "It isn't here."
Mr. kenju: "It isn't over by the bar?"
Judy: "No."
Mr. kenju: "Well, go upstairs and press the page button on the base, and the phone will beep."
(Remember, I had just come downstairs at his request....so.... I go back upstairs and press the page button and I hear it beeping - downstairs.)
Judy: "Do you hear it?"
Mr. kenju: "Yes."
Judy: "Where is it?"
Mr. kenju: "In my pocket."
Judy: @#%$&^(*+$%!?"(*)!!
Mr. kenju (quietly): "I shoulda' lied."
P.S. It's okay to laugh - I did.

I'm really sorry for laughing, but that kind of thing happens to me constantly. I'll ask someone if they've seen my cell phone, and then it will ring in my hand and scare me to death. Or I'll spend an hour looking for the sunglasses that are on my head.
Bwahahahahaha! He should've lied!
It's not all bad if it can be blog fodder, right? ;-)
AHahahahaaa!!!!
Awesome. I suspect you don't think it is, but it is. Best to keep on laughing, right?
Ahhh the bliss of a togetherness. Think how bored you would be if you didn't have his help!
That is very funny! :)
Yup, same converstion here just replace phone with "cane" and the locationm ofsaid cane is right behind him if he had turned around.
I laughed right out loud. Sorry. That would make a good scene on a sitcom.
OMG! LMAO! Sorry for laughing but thats just too funny Judy. I guess u can laugh about it NOW lol. Mr. Kenju is lucky it was in his pocket because after all that searching, u may have chucked the thing at his head lmao!!
Judy,
Several friends got together for lunch.
One if the women had to leave because she lived far away, so she said her goodbyes and left.
Then, it was noticed that she had left her purse on the chair. "That's okay, said one of the friends,"I have her cell phone number. I'll call her."
So, everybody relaxed. It was okay .They could call her and she would come back .
They dialed her cell phone number and the PHONE IN HER PURSE ON THE CHAIR BEGAN TO RING.
He should have, indeed!
John
Oh my. All in a day for you I guess.Keep your hin up!
At that point...just think of it as good 'ol exercise Judy. Sometimes there aren't enough expletives.
haha!
(ducking)
Hehehe, if he lied this post wouldn't be possible. :-) Love your pictures of the mountain. And your mom's quote about dressing for success! Have a nice weekend!
:::tries to not let Judy hear me laugh:::
LOL, LOL, LOL...I did laugh, out loud, before I got your permission....It was just irrepressable....! Oh Lordy, Judy...Do you feel like the Maid these days?
I hope Mr. Kenju is doing better and better all the time, my dear...Though a story like this is a great blog post! (lol)
Gotta love him. We recently had some friends over for dinner and when they arrived home they called. The Mr. said thanks for everything, the dinner, the freezer (we gave them a freezer...long story), the cake and the phone. I said you're welcome and he said...you haven't heard a word I said. I realized then that he said thanks for the phone at which point he said when he got home one of our cordless phones was in his pocket. Before he called I had started to look for it since they are never where they are supposed to be. Now how the heck did it wind up in his pocket? and how could you not notice it as you sat through dinner, got in the car and drove home? Gotta love him too.
I hate to laugh but that is hilarious. I can see it as a comedy episode on "I Love Lucy"
LOL! Judy, it's even better because I can picture you two having this conversation.
If Mr. Kenju is well enough for you to want to kill him, it sounds like his recovery and your nursing care have been successful!
Yes, I have been there. I had a mother-in-law with short-term memory loss. Fortunately she was a dear.
Do you find your expletives have become a trifle more racy of late?
Just askin':)
Awwww! I would have lied lol.
LOL!

I totally would have lied. Tell him that for me would you? Miss ya!
Me.
Oh that sounds like something I would do! (Have the phone in my back pocket or something). laughing is TOTALLY appropriate.
maybe i'm better off single, ya think?
Just love these conversations, and yes he should have lied!!!
