Wedding Flowers ~ September 22, 2007

A pew marker in the church.

The seven bouquets and clusters for the three flower girls. I deliver them in aluminum cans, since they are cheaper than vases and are not breakable!

The reception was in the same restaurant downtown (Caffe Luna) that my rehearsal dinner was in last month. They didn't have any tables set up when I arrived, so the photo shows all the centerpieces clumped together. The big one was for the buffet, of course, in a brass trumpet vase.

One of the main centerpieces. The bride and her mom had bought 25 pottery bowls for the flowers, and planned to give each one of them away to guests, which is a nice gesture. The bride's parents returned my brass trumpet this morning; they were very complimentary and said the bride was happy. My work is done! (At least this weekend.)

nice flarty thangs!

It's cool to know that you have artistic talent.

Unfortunately, when it comes to flowers, I wouldn't know art if it came up and slapped me in the mouth, but since people keep asking you to make stuff for them, it must mean you know what the heck you're doing.

Keep up the good work!

Oh, more beautiful flowers. You are aware that I adore your floral work, aren't you? You are so very talented.

The autumn colours of the arrangements are so beautiful and like Beverly I love the flowers against the wooden pew.

Again, thank you for sharing.

Although, I should say that Michele sent me, because you were the last one to play this weekend's M&G, but I refuse to speak in the third person - until at least tomorrow, so, I am just going to I sent myself. So there!
