It seems odd to be posting wedding flower photos while the reception is in full swing, but such are the marvels of the digital age! This week, I had a wedding of my own - meaning this one is my client - not that of my part-time boss. The one above is a detail of flowers in one of the altar arrangements. I think I'll use that for my computer wallpaper!
Above is one of the altar arrangements. I had those gold stands made about 18 years ago, and they have been used in at least a hundred weddings.
The bride's bouquet.
Her tossing bouquet; beside the unusual cake. I think I told you recently that chocolate brown and blue is a very popular color scheme lately.
As I write this, I am listening to my new CD by the Puppini Sisters, called "Betcha Bottom Dollar". Anyone over 55+ is guaranteed to like it! Currently playing is "In the Mood"; sort of apropos for a wedding night, dontcha think?

Thos flowers are just gorgeous! You are so talented to create such art with flowers. I love lillies.
The flowers are beautiful! What wonderful work. I really do like the cake, though as you say, it's a bit unusual. Was it made (icing) out of fondant?
PS: not sure what happened on my blog for you. I tried it and it seems to be working now. Won't you try again? :)
You did a wonderful job. That halo shows that you are truly a skilled professional.
Now, learn to make that cake!
Beautiful photos! Here via Michele's.
kenu...try this link and see if it works for you. I honestly don't know what's going on.

OOPS... I'm out of practice... forgot to say, Michelle sent me! ;)
I've watched you do flowers in the past and you do such wonderful arrangements...and I love the cake and the colors!
The flowers are lovely, as usual. I do not know the Puppini sisters, but they sound like someone I would like.
I LOVE those wedding colors.
You did a wonderful job!!!
I thought that cake was three boxes on top of one another. Very cool looking! I bet it tasted divine.
I especially like the head wreath (halo).
I've always liked those, even for brides.
Those flowers are GORGEOUS!!
Have a wonderful day!

Lovely flowers as usual...that is a different looking cake. It is 7:38 pm and the temp is 88....too hot to be in the mood for anything except young love could probably handle it just fine...and I know the tune!
I love these flowers Judy...the purple and lavendar tones with the white lilies. I've always loved those halo rings the girls wear in their hair....just beautiful.
I love your gift of color and texture, Judy. How you can conceptualize these is beyond me because I'm as close to color-challenged as one can imagine. But looking at these pictures, it's hard to not lose one's breath in the process.
Thank you for your very sweet comment on my blog yesterday. Made my day!
Those are truly gorgeous flowers. You are an artist!
Beautiful flowers and bouquets!
Those are beautiful! I wish I could get married again so you could hook a sista up. Oh gosh! What was I thinking?!?!?!? Married again? Hmmm... guess I'd have to get rid of this one first eh? ;)
LOVELY, LOVELY, LOVELY....! When you have a client of your own where do you make up all the floral goodies...? In your home? Just wondered Judy...Or does Mel let you use his place?
I have always loved Chocolate and Blue together....I did a painting about 35 years ago using those colors and it is still one of my very favorite paintings I've ever done...! I have not seen a cake with those colors brfre though..Very Unusual shape, too! I LOVE those Halo's for the flower girls...So very delicate!
Beautiful combinations Judy!
Gorgeous flowers!!! And cake too!
