We interrupt all regularly scheduled posts to say:

WHAT THE %$#@*&%@# WAS THAT????

That was the worst ending hour of any TV show I have ever seen. Talk about leaving us hanging! It was more like "Life with Father" than it was the story of a mob leader. Are they leaving the way open for a sequel or a movie or what? I feel ripped off! How about you?

All the dramatic endings I foresaw were way off! It was a bit of a let down . . .

I'm not help. I've never seen one episode. Not that I wouldn't, but more that I couldn't. No cable or anything like that.

I stopped watching this show a while ago when I no longer had HBO. I got addicted to The Office, The Closer, Psyched, and Monk instead. Go figure!

At work and haven't seen it yet. Damn, I knew I shouldn't have started going around reading all you folks out there.

And you are talking about....what? :) JK...I don't watch the Sopranos Judy because I am highly addicted to WAY too many other shows.....

Sorry you were left disappointed....I felt the same way after the finale for Greys Anatomy. It really sucked.

I appreciated the ending. It leaves questions unresolved. Or, you can write your own ending.
I liked the buildup - the onion rings looked good in a family restaurant setting - then poof! nothing.
By the visuality of it, it looked as though the last 5 or 10 seconds were deleted... maybe the ending actually surprised everybody - even those that made it.
Like Marie Iam addicted to The Office... but I am also addicted to My Name Is Earl (maybe I identify with it).

I'm afraid I don't watch much TV so I don't know the program! I hate it when the ending of things is unsatisfactory though. It does leave you feeling ripped off.

Thanks for the prayers for my mother. Much appreciated.

fuggedaboud it...David Chase is now on my hit list. That ending ruined my otherwise great day.

LOL I've not watched The Sopranos since the second season, Judy, but I've heard a lot of complaints about the ending already. They were talking about it a lot on the morning shows today as well.

I thought I was the only one who had never seen Sopranos...no HBO, but I see I'm not the only one.

I hear ya, Judy! I was disappointed. Really and truly. It seems that Chase tied up every other character's story arc but Tony's, and I did NOT like the open-ended ending.

I don't have HBO so I haven't followed the show BUT recently have been able to watch old episodes on A& E and am hooked.

I'm surprised I don't hear talk about Monk (USA - Friday nights) and HIS psychiatrist. I love Monk, especially when he has a session with his doctor!

I think they're leaving it open for a movie. Yeah, it was a little weird. Hooked on that show for all those seasons...and BOOM...a little unfulfilling. That's why I think something more will come.

I'll have to wait for the dvds of this last season, but I did hear there is a movie in the works, hence, the vague, I guess, ending.

On first viewing, I was so irritated. But the more I've watched it and talked to people and read message boards and so on, the more I've come to appreciate it. Now, I even kind of grudgingly admire Mr. Chase's guts.
