All knobby knees and sour disposition.
After working 7 hours standing on my feet today,
I'm all knobby and sour again!

GEE I'm first. Before I forget - Michels sent me. I wonder which of us has the nobbliest knees? I keep mine hidden these days!
What an adorable picture of you, Judy. Such a precocious expression on your face. And those quotes are great. I love the Morley quote best.
such a lovely photo of you!
I got Nyssa a little thing to dangle from her rear view mirror that says:
Take the road less traveled. But don't get lost.
I thought that went well with your second quote. Oh, yes, and I didn't often like my picture taken either. You were quite a cute kid. After I turned five I was too skinny from bad tonsils in first grade, too chubby from getting said tonsils out in second grade and had buck teeth and a Lauren Hutton space between the front two from sucking my thumb. In a word... or two, pretty ugly.
Happiness and intelligence rarely found in the same person? Nonsense. I got about 100 b**ggers who fit the bill. Including Kenju.
How adorable!!! You had the 'attitude' even then! And I love the quotes!!!
Happy weekend! Here from Michele's - this time.
Running faster when we've lost our way...once, years ago, I was driving to Cincinnati from Florida. I-75 wasn't finished yet. Anyway, I was driving along and noticed I was getting low on gas, so I started driving faster to get to a station. Dumb.
You were a cute girl! Have a nice weekend!
Gee - happy or intelligent? Do I really have to choose?
How cute you are!
When I look at old photos of myself I can always recognize my legs. Some things don't change all that much. This photo is a treasure. Doesn't it almost seem like a dream we made up that we were once that young? I came by way of our friend michele.
Cute picture! Can you remember why you were feeling sour?
My mother has one of me somewhere with my bottom lip out so far I'm practically tripping over it - and I remember that day. I was three, and it was the day my big brother started school. I'd just found out I wasn't going with him.
(He looked very smiley in the same shot, probably because he was finally going to get away from his pesky little sister.)
Cute picture! Weren't you about the age when the days seemed ever so long for many of us, and we wondered when we would ever grow up so we could really get out and about in the world?
You must have had some day today Judy...Were you doing arrangements for a particular event?
These quotatioons really make you stop and think...!
I love that picture of you, too, my dear.
Great photo, as always.
I really love black and white photography., the pigtails and knees are classic.
Great look on your face. (And that is probably before they made all this sour candy that is so popular.)
I've read a lot of Christopher Morley and especially like Thunder on the Left, a great look at human nature.
That is such a cute picture.
Love the pic - I still hate having mine taken and would much rather be the other side of the lens!
Very thought provoking quotes...
Terrific photo and quotes.
That's so cute of you!
I never got to have knobby knees- I was more on the chunky side!
i always love looking at old photos--wondering what stories they might hold
That is an adorable picture!
I hope you soak your feet, put them up and rest now.
I loved the quotes!
Have a wonderful day!

ohh, that pictures is so precious! The attitude is cute..."Bring it on!"
Hmmm...happiness or intelligence? I guess I'm thinking myself into sadness...need to fix that...as soon as I can think up some kind of remedy...*thinking*...
You look like you had a lot to say then too! :)
Cute pic Judy....
It's all about the pose and the attitude....was you hair in a pony tail or pigtails or just short? Yep, you've got the look.
Could you possibly BE any more cute? And full of attitude, too. I love it!
you are so cute in this pic! i remember going through a phase around that age where i hated getting my picture taken. so there are a couple of years of pictures of my back or a big scowl....
What a lovely photo of you Judy!
Ok, the skirt quote made me laugh.
