Flowers!

Several years ago, the local wholesale florist stocked these wooden dolls, each of which had a small box that could be used for flowers or most anything. I still have one, and I use it to hold business cards. Here are three of the four of them I did floral arrangements in for a caterer.

Those are quite colorful, Judy. They don't look all that hard to make either. That could be a good craft project for some kids.

They remind me of the folk art you see in New Orleans and/or the Caribbean.

ahhhh...I needed that little shot of flowers and color in my very cold wintery life right now.

Thanks!

Ditto et - 2.stinking.degrees this morning. Well below the BFP.

I love what you've done with the place! And the sour-knobby photo from the other day - adorable anyway.

Cute little colorful dolls!
Now that I think of it a bit, I suppose you (not me, but YOU) could probably make a flower arrangement using just about anything as a backdrop, couldn't you? :)

Oh, those are adorable!!

We have so much snow here right now, the idea of flowers or gardening is laughable...in a hysterical kinda demented way lol

LET ME SEE SPRING....SOON!

These are really cute...
And about that position to blog... that hurts just looking at it.
Reminds me of the anesthesiologist telling me to "roll up in a ball with my knees to my chest" when he was putting in the saddle block before I had the C-section. You've got to be kidding!

I love these!! The Maritimes are chock full of primitive folk artists (many were once fishermen)..these look very much like the work they do.

I would LOVE to have a large replica for my garden.....whimsy and pansies go hand in hand, don't they??

Great ideas......lovely arrangements Judy
