Driftwood Horses

I got these in email. Aren't they amazing? I wish I had this talent with "found objects!"

I would be happy just to find some nice driftwood. :-) It's all luscious and green over here!

Gosh, those are absolutely GORGEOUS! Like you, I'd love that talent with "found objects"...saw you at Michele's thought I'd say hey, even though it's not really my turn...just saying hi to everyone I can tonight.

Stunning. I have a friend that will be going out to the forest as soon as all of the snow is gone and she will collect fallen pieces of trees...small pieces with knot holes in them. She washes, oven dries and then uses high gloss urethane and puts small ceramic birds in them...she calls them woodknots...they are beyond beautiful. These sculptures are just stunning.

These are stunning. You could turn wildflowers into a beautiful bridal bouquet... what do you mean you have no artistic talent? You have it dripping from your fingertips.

What are they made of... driftwood?

I can't even draw a horse much less make a sculpture out of driftwood. These are unique and beautiful pieces. Are the two reading kids your daughters?

OMG my first glance I thought it was like seeing horses without skin, to show off the muscles and such, like u see medical dummies ...these are incredible and are shaped so perfectly!

My creation from driftwood would look like a pile of driftwood.

I especially like the little bit of mane flying as the horse 'runs' along the beach.

The most beautiful thing I've ever built with driftwood is a nice fire.

Judy you won't believe this but grape hyacinths are my bete noir. When we first came here the beds were flooded with them and over the years I weeded tham out but never fear they are back again with a vengeance. I love the blue but don't like the mess they leave afterwards.
I longeed to say 'Hey Jude!' but thought you might be cress:)
