I'm still a little too young to relate to the loose skin and tight jeans cartoon, Judy, but the rest of them hit home. Funny stuff!

Michele sent me over tonight, Judy.

Maxine is like every crazy old neighbour lady I've ever had.

I don't think I'd like to turn the clock back to 20. The election one hit the nail on the head. I'd like to slap a few of those mosquitoes.

When I was in Kansas City, I visited Hallmark, and I made the comment at the front desk that I'd love to sit in on a session when the artists were discussing Maxine.

They told me that one man drew her and based her on his mom. She often went with him when he spoke or did presentations.

You can never have too much coffee any day! I know a Maxine, looks a lot like this one. In real life, it is her husband that's the character.

What you don't want is a bite from an infected mosquito. It killed Rupert Brooke (my post tomorrow)

Haha ... the coffee and voting ones are my favorites here.

I used to think Maxine was a cute if angry old woman with a great sense of humor. Now I feel like she could be one of my friends in real life! haha
