I am so impressed that you saved these things, and still have them.

I once write to a daytime Soap Opera because I was so upset when they killed off a certain character. It was back around 1959and I had been stricken with Mononucleosis and all I could do was lay there and watch daytime TV....and got terribly hooked on this show called "From These Roots"....LOL! Oh Lord!
But it was a very very good show!

As an aside on your love of Designing Women....One of the Weddings I "officiated" at waaay back, (1990) was Annie Potts a her then Fiance Jim Hayman....! It was a HUGE Wedding--Held at Sunset in Malibu at a large Estate that they had rented just for the Wedding. It was reallt lovely and lots of fun, too!OldLady Of The Hillshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02458879772193114892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2958679963868626698.post-41552548709392974712008-10-08T23:00:00.000-04:002008-10-08T23:00:00.000-04:00I am so proud that you managed to keep Designing W...I am so proud that you managed to keep Designing Women on the air a little longer. I loved that show until they got all caught up in Delta Burke's weight gain and everyone was at war.

Someday I'll have to try writing such a letter now that I know they really do some good.Granny Anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18165058412950953296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2958679963868626698.post-61504417108662760942008-10-08T20:45:00.000-04:002008-10-08T20:45:00.000-04:00I LOVED that show. Every show I've held remote interest in has gone belly up in no time flat. That's why I don't really talk about Survivor much. Once CBS gets wind that *I* like it, *poof*, it'll be gone.
