My Blogiversary

I can't believe I missed it.

January 16th, 2005 was the first time I wrote a blog post  on my first blog....Just Ask Judy....So, as I enter my sixth year of blogging, I thank those of you who stop here daily (or at all) and I  want to especially thank those of you who stay around long enough to leave a comment. You do realize, don't you, that comments and feedback to a blogger are like standing ovations and reviews to a Broadway star???

Like everyone else who blogs for a long time, I am constantly amazed by the people with whom I have become friends (both in person and on the web). Not all of you are axe murderers (as my younger daughter predicted) and some of you are incredibly smart, talented, compassionate and funny! I consider myself very lucky to have discovered such a good group of people, who daily make me laugh, cry, ponder and agree with your pronouncements. I wish we could do it in person.

Wow, 6 years! Happy Birthday :-)

I am delighted to have discovered the blog world community, it's full of wonderful people. No doubt there are a few axe murderers around as well but I haven't come across them yet. As far as I know....

CONGRATULATIONS, Judy! It is quite a milestone...! I am so glad we found each other in the Blogesphere----You were one of my first readers back in October of 2005, and I think it says a lot, my dear, that you are still blogging and that you have such a loyal and wonderful readership....! You deserve lots of Kudo's Judy. And, maybe someday, we will meet "in person"...I hope so.

Happy, happy to you. I know how much it means to have followers, and am constantly amazed at my need to see what is going on with my blogging friends. You always bring an "awe" when I see your arrangements of flowers, and a laugh with your funnies!

Congrats on sticking to it. You also have written quite succinctly why many of us stick to this for so long. We must be getting something out of it...rather than fame or fortune!

Happy Sixth Blogiversary Judy. Your blog 'Just Ask Judy' was one of the first blogs I started to read when I entered the blogging arena almost 5 1/2 years ago....right behind you. I've always loved your honesty, warmth and humor. I hope you're around for many years to come sweetie... Big blogging hugs, Joy

We must have started about the same time, although I think you were a month ahead of me. Congratulations! No we are not axe murderers.... or ARE we....no, I think not. Much too old and tired. At this point, not sure I could lift an axe.

You were too busy blogging to realize your Blogiversary! Congratulations and thank you for staying with it for so long! I hope you know it's one of my favorite blogs and that says a lot --if you only knew how many that I follow! Keep up the good work and I look forward to many more years of IMAGINE.

I am with you on this revelation. Patty and I have been blogging since the 1990s. And sometimes I run out of things to talk about so I have kept everything on a computer hard drive separate from the computers we have had. I just posted my 500th blog post the other day on Abraham Lincoln's blog.

I also told you what the round carved box is on that same blog under your question.

Happy Anniversary:). Not certain how I wandered on to your blog, but I always enjoy reading it.

I too have been around for as long as you've been blogging, and have enjoyed your company lo these many years.
My comments have been few, sorry, I'll try to do better.

Stand up and take a bow lady. That is all of us clapping.
I found you when you were Just Judy and I was just a lurker and have enjoyed visiting you since.
PS
I retired my axe when I got my first SS check.

Happy Blogiversary! We started blogging just a few days before you, and I forgot to mention it on the blog this year. I feel the same way you do about blogging. My life has been utterly enriched by the people I have come to know through this medium. I am totally glad you are here and starting your 6th year!

I love the blogging world too and I've met so many amazing people, and you are one of them, and I'm not saying that in an arse kissing kind of way, I mean it.:)

Congratulations, Judy. I like what you said about comments. I'm not sure everyone gets that about blog visiting. When there are no comments I wonder if I've lost my edge (yes); it was like the olden days of answering machines and no one left a message.

Happy Blogiversary Judy. I feel the same as you do. In face to face conversations I often refer to something a friend told me, when what I really mean is I read it on someone's blog. I enjoy our daily "visits".
